I did my dream trip taking the Amtrak across the US. I left from Atlanta to Washington DC, then to Chicago, then to Seattle. It was the adventure of a lifetime! It’s probably best to do the train trip a day or two at a time instead of all at once, It took a few days to stop rocking back and forth after it was done.
