Apathy isn’t a personality🪽Original poem by TheFallenPoet.

Being nonchalant is one of the worst attitudes to carry. Why hide your excitement and joy just to look cool in front of people or on social media? You’re suppressing the very things that make you human, the passion, the enthusiasm, the genuine emotions, just to seem detached and unbothered. And for what? So strangers think you’re mysterious? So people don’t think you care too much? Caring deeply isn’t weakness, it’s what makes life worth living. The ones who pretend nothing excites them are often the same ones who wonder why life feels empty. Stop performing apathy like it’s a personality trait and start embracing what actually makes you feel alive.
