Paul Duffy - Only just begun

Paul Duffy is a multi-instrumentalist and comes from Liverpool in England. For seven years he was a soloist and soprano cornetist in the Black Dyke Band, one of the world's best brass bands, but now he has left the band and works as a freelance musician.

Paul is well known in the Swedish brass band movement as he is frequently hired as a guest soloist and instructor. A couple of weeks ago, he released his first solo album with mainly his own music. On the record, Paul treats no less than 25 different instruments and in the title track "Only Just Begun" he plays all instruments in a brass band set. Something that has probably never been done before.

In this personal portrait, Paul talks about himself, the new album and his role as a multi-instrumentalist and soloist.
