Castlemorton Common and Gullet Quarry are located in Worcestershire England on the eastern side of the Malvern Hills. Castlemorton Common was once part of the Royal hunting grounds of the Malvern Chase. This is now the largest remaining tract of unenclosed public land. The Mill Pond in Golden Valley is a lovely place to picnic an watch the geese, who seem to rule the sounding area. After walking around the mill pond we head towards Gullet Quarry. We were able to walk by the water’s edge a few years ago, but now the area is fenced off. You will notice the Danger signs everywhere. This place has been in the news many times but never to say how beautiful it is, but to report on the number of deaths that occurred by youngsters jumping into what looks like inviting cool water. The truth is the water is very cold and below its surface some of machinery still stands. This 4K video was shot with our iPhones set at 4K 60fps. However, on some footage the focus fluctuations can be seen as the focus wasn’t fixed when walking through some foliage.
