 In this Let's Play I will be role-playing heavily, trying to stay in character as much as possible, and making decisions on what Za'Siri would do and not what I would do.

I will not be doing the Main Quest, instead focusing on House Hlaalu, Thieves Guild, Morag Tong, and the Twin Lamps (Modded). Incredibly, despite hundreds of hours and many characters, I have never done the Twin Lamps before so this will be new and exciting for me.

In summary, Za'Siri is an ex-slave returned to Morrowind to act out revenge on Orvas Dren and House Hlaalu. This Prologue delivers a full back-story.

I will admit that this story concept has been heavily influenced by The Count of Monte Cristo :)
I have no idea how long this Let's Play will be or how the story arc will work because role-playing can add many unexpected twists and turns.

As I will be trying to play in character I will not be meta-gaming or power gaming. There is game knowledge I have that my character WILL NOT have. I also do not consider myself the best gamer in the world (which may be frustrating for some of you and lead to much face-palming). My aim here is to create a character and story with depth, rather than try to "beat" the game and become all-powerful. Although I realize that last part is almost impossible not to do sometimes in Elder Scrolls games. Hence there will be some deliberate character flaws / philosophies introduced to try and temper this a little.

Mods

I am playing on the Open Morrowind Engine (OpenMW). This does impose restrictions on the type and number of mods I can use but I do love the stability, how it looks, and it brings many vanilla aspects of the game to life. The biggest drawback is view distance, of course, but in a weird way my view of Morrowind has always been of that misty/foggy/mysterious place and there is a romantic nostalgia there for me, so it suits me perfectly.
