Today I am showing you my Southern Mama’s Stuffed Zucchini. Almost everyone in the South has a stuffed zucchini recipe. This is my mama‘s. She uses ground turkey meat instead of ground beef but you could use ground beef if you want to. My mama’s stuffed zucchini has a distinctively Italian twist them. Growing up I always looked forward to when she would make them, comfort food at its best. Mama said the reason why she made them was because they were delicious and an economical meal she could make year-round for our large family.
