Pee Wee Herman (Paul Reubens) Recieves Pop Culture Award (2012 TV Land Awards)

Paul Reubens (As Pee-Wee) recieves the Pop Culture Icon Award at the 2012 TV Land Awards. The award is presented to him by Mike Myers. Interesting to note is:
1. Among those in the audience are Jim Carrey, Kenan Ivory Wayans, and the cast of In Living Color (who were also being honored that night.) and Candice Bergen (who worked with Paul in his recurring guest spots on Murphy Brown.)
2. When Mike Myers, in his speech, notes several of the "Pee Wee's Playhouse" characters such as Cowboy Curtis and Miss Yvonne, make note of when Myers gets to Captain Carl (played by the late Phil Hartman.) Myers gives a brief but touching gesture to the sky at his one-time SNL castmate (who joined SNL, after doing one season of Pee Wee's Playhouse, and helping co-write the screenplay for Pee Wee's Big Adventure.)
