Pharaoh: A New Era is a remake of the classic Pharaoh and Cleopatra citybuilding game made by Impressions Games back in the day. It combines classic citybuilding techniques that the company developed back then with the themes and tone of Ancient Egypt. One of the few games over the years that have done a deep dive on one of my personal favorite subjects. Lets see how this version of the game differs from the original and if I can finally beat the entirety of it...Or if we go down in history ashamed of our failures.
