If you get the chance to go there and buy the pottery, please make sure to never put it in the dish washer and always hand wash it to avoid any damage.

Please keep in mind that the items displayed take about a week to be ready from preparing clay to glazing and firing. Hence the effort the artisans made is definitely worth more than the price they will ask you for.

Safi is a city on the Atlantic coast of Morocco. This beautiful city is less than 3 hours drive from Marrakech, Essaouira, Casablanca and El Jadida, so you can easily include it in your travel plan.
