How can I clean up the bow sound on the violin?

Описание к видео How can I clean up the bow sound on the violin?

You can clean up the sound of the bow by adding little pauses in between the notes. This is especially good for string crossing (I call the practice "stop n' rock" when adding pauses to string crossing).

I’ll go further into this on the FiddleHed page: https://fiddlehed.co/CleanBowSound
And I’ll give you extra content (play-along tracks, tabs, sheet music snippets) to help you understand and practice this. It’s free for one week after the date of publication (with a trial membership, which is also free).

This video is an excerpt from an office hours webinar I gave on January 28, 2020. View the entire live-stream with indexed questions here: https://fiddlehed.co/OfficeHoursJanua...

Do you have a fiddle or violin question? The office hours live-stream happens on the last Tuesday of the month. Sign up for my email list and I’ll let you know when the next one happens: https://fiddlehed.co/subscribe
You’ll also hear about newly published lessons as well as other fun stuff like community practice challenges and giveaways. Yeehaw 🤠

Thanks for your support 💪 and for making music 🙏
Play every day 🎶
and have fun along the way 😀
Now, go fiddle with it...🎻
