In this video series, Chuck Dorsett will be showing you how to make a leather holster from start to finish. We will be making a basic holster but by following the simple steps in this video, you can build a holster to meet your needs.
In this first video, Chuck will be showing you how to draw the pattern for the holster, the belt loop, and the closure strap. We will also be cutting out our leather and punching our snap and Chicago screw holes using the pattern we created. This holster is made of 7/8 oz. natural veg tan leather and lined with a 2/3 oz. natural veg tan leather.
