Описание к видео If your business breaks when you’re tired, it’s not a business.

You’re exhausted, not irresponsible. Your nervous system is in DEFCON 2 and the productivity girlies want you to “just time-block better.” Cute. Here’s the grown-woman version for the chronically ill and disabled founder: design a low-spoon business that runs on one small repeatable task, automate the rest, and stack it with grants so the money isn’t handcuffed to your energy each week.

What’s a “low-spoon business”? It’s a business built to respect flare days: tiny daily deliverables, asynchronous everything, automation first, and revenue that doesn’t require your face on camera at 3 PM when your blood pressure taps out. Think: digital downloads, text-based courses, email templates, Notion/Canva kits, faceless Pinterest traffic, print-on-demand, or a micro-service with clear boundaries and a waitlist. You run it from bed with captions, dictation, canned responses, and scheduled drop days—not panic-posting.

Then we fund the boring, because the boring is what eats your spoons: software, contractors, accessibility tools, captioning, transcription, hosting, shipping credits, and outsourced edits. You do this by applying to microgrants, corporate/community programs, city/county mini-funds, and foundation open calls that explicitly support small business capacity, creative economy, workforce upskilling, community wellness, digital equity, arts education, and disability inclusion. Translation: plenty of legit pots that don’t demand you turn into a nonprofit.

No, grants aren’t guaranteed. But pipelines are predictable. You build (1) a one-page Executive Summary in plain English, (2) a repeatable budget that covers the same line items every time (software, subcontractor hours, accessibility), (3) a calendar that tracks rolling deadlines and quarterly cycles, and (4) a proof folder with receipts of what you already deliver (testimonials, screenshots, downloads sold, open-rate graphs, community impact). And you recycle 80% of that language across apps. Spoon-saving, sanity-saving, still professional.

The most important boundary? Rest is a deliverable. Put it in the plan. Your business will not collapse if you stop auditioning for “most resilient patient.” We build a minimal viable week you can complete on your worst day (one task, one post, one client update, one grant touch). Everything else is optional, or scheduled, or delegated.

You’re allowed to want money and medication refills. You’re allowed to want quiet, not chaos. Low-spoon business + grant stack = revenue that isn’t allergic to rest.

Save this, share with your chronically ill bestie, and comment REST PLAN if you want the step-by-step I use with 1-1 clients.
