Darlington to Barnard Castle by Bike (Via Greta Bridge)

Описание к видео Darlington to Barnard Castle by Bike (Via Greta Bridge)

This video is a record of a bike ride I did from Darlington to Barnard Castle on a Sunday afternoon in June 2020.

It was the first decent-length trip I'd made with the bike. By the time I got back to Darlington, I'd clocked up 67 km.

The video is in real-time. I made a few mistakes along the way but I've left them in.

I shot the footage using a Sony Action Cam. A friend gave it to me as a gift a few years ago. I never had a reason to use it before but mounting it to the front of the bike (Raleigh Firefly) before my trip seemed like a good idea.

Darlington is in County Durham. So is Greta Bridge and Barnard Castle, but my journey took me through a few villages in North Yorkshire, such as Stapleton and Cleasby.

Filming bike trips is not my usual thing. I shot most of the videos on my channel at live music events but most of the World is in Lockdown at the moment so there are no live music events to go to so I enjoy an occasional bike ride instead.
