This is Real Teratali.
in this devotional dance, performed for Baba Ramdeo Ji, a folk hero of the Kamar community. This dance is unusual in that the dancers sit on the ground throughout the performance. Teratali refers to the 13 manjiras (small cymbals) tied to the dancers’ legs and back. She clapping the same with Music beets. Beautifully choreograhed, the dancers’ upper bodies sway to the music, their arms moving in unison, pots of flowers for Ramdeo’s shrine balanced on their head, the hero’s sword clenched between their teeth.

केवल यही है असली "तेरह ताली" : जिसमें नृत्यांगना अपने शरीर के विभिन्न स्थानों पर 13 (तेरह) मंजीरे बांध कर, नृत्य करते हुए संगीत के ताल के साथ हाथों के मंजीरे से टकरा कर जो ध्वनि उत्पन्न करती है, उसे ही तेरह ताली कहा जाता है। केवल हाथ में मजीरे लेकर लहराने को तेरह ताली नहीं कहा जा सकता।

प्रस्तुत तेरह ताली नृत्य में प्रयुक्त पारंपरिक लोकगीत को स्वर प्रसिद्ध भजन गायिका श्रीमती मंजू सोनी ने प्रदान किया है। इस भव्य लोकनृत्य को अपना स्वर प्रदान करने हेतु आभार।
