What if the Genesis version of Sonic 1 had different music for Act 2 stages like future Classic Sonic games. Maybe Marble Zone would sound a little bit like this.

My idea behind Act 2 for Marble Zone is that as Sonic goes deeper inside the ruins of the zone, it gets darker, and it would have a more dark color palette. As Sonic exits the ruins, the sun starts setting. I lowered the pitch and made it more slow-paced to reflect that.
