Full disclosure: I could not find a recipe for broccoli cheddar soup for the blender so I took what I knew from making this soup before and scaled it so it could fit in the blender.

What I used:
12 oz broccoli
1 1/2 cup veggie broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
3/4 cup onion
1 cup carrots
1/2 tablespoon garlic
1 cup cheese
Salt to taste
