Filipino or Filipinx? Latino or Latinx? | The Debate on Gender Markers

☞Like myself, many people may be unfamiliar with gender markers, the use of the letter ‘X’ to create more gender-neutral terms. Additionally, it’s emphasized that it creates an inclusive environment. Within the last year or two, the term “Filipinx” was trending on several social media platforms causing a large debate on how it represents Filipinos.

After being told in a previous video that using gender markers with culture is incorrect, I decided to come to you all for some guidance! What do you think?
