Check the eggs of beehives/西洋蜜蜂の卵の確認

After deviding beehives, we check the eggs of New beehives if the new queen was born and doing well.
If the queen bee has not been produced, the buzzing of the bees from the box will become louder and noisier.
(In this case, fortunately they were quiet.)

If there is no queen bee,
the colony will gradually disappear.

Therefore, checking the eggs in the frame is an important step to see if there is a queen bee in the colony.

If there is no queen bee, you will need a queen bee and add it.

カナダの東端のノバスコシア州で西洋蜜蜂の養蜂をしています。

2024年春、群れが大きくなりすぎたので、今回強制的に群れ分かれさせた群。

それに、無事に女王蜂ができたか。
そして、卵を産み始めているかを確認しました。

女王蜂ができていないと、箱からの蜂たちの羽音も大きくなり、騒々しくなります。
(今回はおとなしかったです）

女王蜂がもしもいないと、
徐々にその蜂の群れが消滅してしまいます。

ですので、フレームの卵確認は、群れに女王蜂がいるかをみる大切な確認作業です。

もしも、女王蜂が出来ていないときは女王蜂を単独で購入して入れる必要があります。
