Finally got around to recording a cover of this classic! "Hand of Blood" has some of the most iconic riffs in #metalcore, and I wanted to see how close I could get to that legendary studio tone using my current home setup.

I’m particularly focused on achieving a "Metal Touch"—that specific balance of high-gain aggression and surgical tightness.

The Tech Behind the Tone: To get this sound, I’m running a Triple-Split signal path in AmpliTube 5, blending the raw power of the Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier with the precision of the Mark Series. One of my "secret weapons" here is a custom gating strategy: using a Noise Gate in GarageBand before the signal even hits the virtual amp to keep the palm mutes and transitions dead silent.
