Nomad: a Minecraft hardcore adventure: Episode 6: Ahoy, matey!

We’re out to slay the dragon in this series – yet once again.

But this time there is a difference. We’ll be playing in a randomly generated world but following four, self-imposed rules:
• Play only on hardcore – duh! We die once and its game over. Respawning to a bed is not going to happen. Beds can be used to bring the dawn, but setting a respawn point is useless.
• Keep wandering. As a nomad, we will not be building any elaborate houses or settling in one area for too long. We may stay a few days somewhere, but nothing is permanent and keep moving. Follow the wind, follow your heart, or more likely, follow the path of least resistance.
• We can take only what we can carry. There will be no storing of items in chests and coming back for them at a later date. We can put things in chests while we are at one location, but once we leave – those items are considered gone. We can make bundles, nether chests and shulker chests (like that will happen), but we still have to carry them. We can leave things for villagers, but we will not be coming back.
• No mining and no crafting. Well, within reason. We can technically craft, but no building. Overnight structures are permissible, but nothing that would be considered our residence. We can mine ores and other blocks we find on walls in caves and ravines and wherever, but no strip mining or other type of mining. If we can’t see it, we can’t randomly poke holes looking for things.
