Helsinki Lounge Crawl - Some Unique Features and Great Fun

My big trip took me through Helsinki airport - I make it sound like a coincidence, but it wasn't as I'd carefully planned it that way! Why? Because Helsinki hosts a handful of good Finnair status lounges including a relatively rare Platinum lounge available only to Emerald status holders with the OneWorld alliance. That puts Helsinki up with the likes of London, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Sydney and makes it well worth stopping over there!

So I visited three lounges in total and in this video I'll show you what I found! And I found a couple of things you can't find in a lounge anywhere else in the world....

And of course a week or so after passing through the Schengen lounge, Finnair announced they were closing it, and replacing it with a new facility more in the style of the non-Schengen business lounge.... And the Schengen area lounge has indeed now closed.... At least the first two lounges I visit are still open!!!
