BJP MP Tejaswi Surya left his party red-faced as he alleged inconsistencies in hospital bed allotment in Bengaluru which was causing scarcity of beds when there were in fact many available. BJP controls both the state and municipal corporation in Karnataka. The MP then went to Bengaluru South Covid war room, read out the name of 17 Muslim volunteers with the organisation and asked why they had been hired.
