Honda City Variants Explained | SV, V, V-Elegant, VX, ZX | The Ultimate Analysis | Nov

November 2023: V3Cars analyses which variant of the 2023 Honda City makes the most sense for buyers in terms of the value it offers for the money you pay. The fifth generation Honda City is available with a 1.5-litre, normal petrol engine producing 121PS of max power and with a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.8kmpl. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT type automatic transmission. The petrol City is also available with ADAS tech from V variant onwards. Apart from the V variant, the City petrol comes in SV, VX & ZX variants.

City hybrid’s powertrain produces 126PS of maximum power and the peak torque has surged to 253Nm. The highlight of the new powertrain is the fuel efficiency, which is claimed to be 27.13kmpl.

Honda City base model’s price starts at Rs 11.63 lakh for the SV variant and its top variant, City ZX petrol manual is priced at Rs 14.86 lakh. Honda City petrol automatic base model’s price starts at Rs 13.76 lakh for the City V CVT variant and its top variant, City ZX CVT, is priced at Rs 16.11 lakh.
