There are challenge modes on Project Ascension. In Ironman like you guessed you cannot die. Survivalist Mode is similar, and Nightmare mode is about the amount of damage you take from NPCs. You get mount rewards for each of these challenges, if you reach max level and complete them. In this video I'll explain what these challenge modes are, and share some basic tips about these. In the future I will make a video about actual tips on these challenge modes, similarly to my Resolute Mode guide video. This is just an explanation video.

Project Ascension is a private World of Warcraft server with various game modes. The gist of it, is that instead of starting a specific class like a Paladin or a Warlock, you get random abilities that come from all classes. You could make a Hunter Druid hybrid for instance. There are different servers with different rulesets on this premise.
Later, Conquest of Azeroth will also release, which has its own custom classes like the Barbarian or the Chronomancer.
