This is the traditional fishing method of the billfish(blue marlin) in East Taiwan. We work with fishermen, Sting the satellite tag(PSAT) on the dorsal fin, If it goes well, the track, depth and temperature will be recorded.

我們與台灣東部的漁民合作，將衛星標識器安置在魚叉上，如果順利的話，標識器將會記錄旗魚棲息環境的深度、溫度與移動軌跡。

該漁法對於漁業永續是非常健康的，鏢刺漁法僅能捕捉水表的魚類，如曼波魚、魟魚、鯊魚、鬼頭刀等中、大型魚種，而旗魚是主要的目標。太小或棲息較深的魚種皆無法獵捕，由於該漁法技術層次非常高，所以在台灣已漸走入黃昏。
