Kefalonia Ainos National Park hike 🇬🇷 best places to visit in Greece

This morning we drove to Ainos National Park.
This park is located on the highest mountain in Kefalonia.

The road there was beautiful, with beautiful views.
At the very top, we came to a radio tower park, where we parked our car, and from there, a walking route started. The first stop was at a viewpoint with picnic benches. From there you could continue walking all the way to the top.
The last part was rough and involved some scrambling here and there, but it was also very beautiful.
Once at the top at 1621 meters, we had a beautiful view all around, breathtaking 😍
You could even see Zakinthos in the distance. From the car to rhe top takes about 20 minutes.

Ainos National Park is located around Mount Ainos on Kefalonia, one of the Ionian Islands. The national park was founded in 1962 and covers 2,862 hectares. At an altitude of 1826 meters, Ainos is the highest mountain in Kefalonia.
