Diamond DA40NG - Simulated Engine Failure Actions // AAFC - EFTS

This video is a training aid showing AAFC procedures used to safely fly the Diamond DA40NG aircraft following (simulated) engine failures in the circuit area. It includes simulated engine failure after takeoff (EFATO), and late downwind.

NOTE: Practice of simulated engine failures is only by AAFC flying instructors qualified on the Diamond DA40NG aircraft. Students will are required to demonstrate competency in similar activities to qualify for solo flight.
