Crafted from closed-cell, waterproof marine-grade foam, this padding acts as a shock-absorbing barrier that reduces impact, eliminates chafing, and helps prolong the life of your bunk carpeting by preventing direct contact with rough wood surfaces. Installation

Simply install by either gluing (recommended) or stapling in place.  For glue down applications use the same Roberts 6700 adhesive, applied with an 1/8" inch notched trowel.  The Padding is also designed to have the carpeted glued down atop the padding as well if desired.

Padding Can Be Installed one section after another to achieve total length required (For Example: An 20Ft long bunk board would require a 12' & 8' sections installed one in front of the other to achieve the 20' necessary).  Simply install by either gluing (recommended) or stapling in place.  We also sell larger bulk rolls that are 6Ft in width and either 5Ft long, 8Ft long, or 10Ft long for customers and DIYers to cut strips to their own desired width or total length.
