This is my recitation of one of my favorites verses in the Qur'an (2:255), which I have grown up with as prayer for protection when you're scared, worried, stressed, etc. I also treat it as a prayer for asking God to protect you from all sorts of injustices (like patriarchy, racism, and other evils), which, you know, are very scary.

Rough English translation:

"Allah! There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except She, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Her. To Her belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could possibly intercede with Her without Her permission? She ˹fully˺ knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of Her knowledge—except what She wills ˹to reveal˺. 'Her Seat' encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of both does not tire Her. For She is the Most High, the Greatest."
