DIY Simple Fleece Socks - How to Sew Slippers - How to Make Stretch Socks Sewing Pattern - Tutorial

Make yourself a pair of cozy socks from fleece very easy and very fast.These socks can be worn with shoes or in place of slippers. Fleece socks will keep your feet warm and cozy during chilly days and nights. These socks are great as an extra layer while moseying around the house and also make a great gift.
You can use fleece blanket or any fleece garment that doesn't fit you. Fleece fabric is soft and easy to work with; it doesn't fray, so it doesn't need to be hemmed.
Make a paper pattern so you can refer to the pattern and evolve your next pairs of socks to perfection.
Remember that fleece stretches more in one direction than the other. Apply a pattern as shown in the video.
For a child's sock, make the leg sections shorter and narrower.
Note that when seaming, the pieces need to be placed, pinned and sewed with the right sides together if the fleece has right and wrong sides.

a sewing machine
fleece
pins
thread
scissors
paper or cardboard for the pattern
