Wajid Khan died of Covid-19 in the wee hours of Monday (June 1). He was 42. The music composer, who composed music for more than 70 Bollywood films along with brother Sajid Khan was also suffering from kidney ailments. As soon as the news broke out on social media, condolence messages started pouring in.


Rajeev Khandelwal took to Twitter and mourned the death of Wajid Khan. He wrote, "This is such a heartbreaking news. One of the best guys I knew. So loving ..so compassionate. And such a contagious smile which always came from his heart. You will be missed #WajidKhan (sic)."


Actor and reality TV star Gautam Gulati shared a video of Wajid Khan on Twitter and condoled his death. He wrote, "Rest in peace Wajid ji."
