All of the rain and snow we've been having at sea-level has been turned into blizzards on the mountain, there's more snow now than I've seen in years! After weeks of inclement weather it was nice to see the sun and blue skies again (alas, ever so briefly). I decided to visit Mount Baker and see the snow pack up close, what a contrast from my previous flight to Baker last summer (see link, below), what a difference!

This video contains scenes from the Summer '21 flight to illustrate the huge amount of snow there now in Winter '22! I find I'm a bit speechless when at the mountain, it's breathtaking there (quite literally). The other sensation you get when near such an enormous mountain is one of being very tiny, winds blowing are also humbling!
