ধর্ষণের প্রতিবাদে নিজের ফেসবুক পাতায় সাকিব আল হাসান বলেন, ‘‘আসুন আমরা ঐক্যবদ্ধ হয়ে এই নৈতিক অবক্ষয়ের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করি এবং আমাদের নারী ও শিশুদের নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করি যাতে তারা স্বপ্ন দেখতে পারে এবং নির্ভয়ে জীবনযাপন করতে পারে৷’’
মাশরাফি: সমস্যা মগজে
‘‘ধর্ষক কোনো পরিচয় বহন করে না’’ বলে মন্তব্য করেন সাবেক অধিনায়ক মাশরাফী বিন মোর্ত্তুজা৷ ফেসবুকে তিনি আরো বলেন ‘‘...বুঝে নিতে হবে, সমস্যা অনেকের মগজেই৷ হয়তো পরিবেশ-পরিস্থিতির কারণে সবারটা প্রকাশ পায় না৷ আসুন, মানসিকতা পরিবর্তন করি৷ নারীকে মাথা উঁচু করে বাঁচতে দিই৷’’
