The visual artist Christopher Le Brun talks about his work on show at Lisson Gallery in Cork Street in London, that could be viewed between 15th and 16th of June 2021. He talks about his artistic approach and the process of making the works on view with a special printing technique resulting in monotype prints on paper. His influence by music he listened to in the process of creating his work results in its visualisation by means of scratching into the surface yet flattening it in the process of making with the printing machine using a special technique involving original printing plates to flatten the paint applied in the creation of his unique monotype print works. The British painter and printmaker Christopher Le Brun lives and works in the United Kingdom and was president of the Royal Academy from 2011 until 2019.
