Why Darkrai is Surprisingly Balanced in Competitive Pokemon

With the release of Gen 9 Indigo Disk DLC, old pokemon, such as Darkrai have been released into the Gen 9 OU DLC meta game. However in previous generations where it abused its signature move of Dark Void, gamefreak has nerfed it and it got so bad that it got unbanned to OU. Many players thought its power might overwhelm a lot of the Pokemon, however it has been suprisingly balanced within the metagame. Q: Where is the gameplay from?
A: Pokemon Showdown
Q: How are the sprites looking like generation 5?
A: Click the settings button and you can change the sprite display
Q: Why is the gameplay have the opponent being dumb?
A: Well surprise its me playing as the opponent as well and having Pokemon faint every 5 seconds isn't as fun as seeing the Pokemon do something in the battle for some time, which is why the gameplay seems like the opponent is braindead. Although I have taken some feedback and have tried to make it more interesting as possible without making the Pokemon faint every 5 seconds for hopefully better entertainment.
