One of the worst performances I’ve witnessed in over 40 years of watching the Seasiders. No shots on target in 90 minutes, three goals conceded before half-time, and a fourth just after the break. According to the match reports, Plymouth scored through Alex Mitchell, Bim Pepple and Malachi Boateng before Caleb Watts made it four early in the second half .
To make things even worse, captain James Husband was sent off in the 86th minute for kicking out at a player with the game already gone at 4-0 down .
We came into this match 17th, they were 16th, and yet we were absolutely dismantled on our own pitch. The atmosphere walking to Bloomfield Road was cautious but hopeful… and what followed was a complete collapse.
This is my honest reaction, my matchday experience, and how it felt to watch Blackpool hit a new low at home. UTMP 🍊 (somehow).
