Making a strong comeback after the devastation of the Covid-19 crisis, the Thai tourism industry is on target to hit 25 million visitor arrivals this year. The powerful marketing campaign launched by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) under the slogan of ‘Visit Thailand Year 2023: Amazing New Chapters’ is designed to steer the kingdom's leading service-sector economy towards a meaningful direction through the promotion and development of high value and sustainable tourism.
The strategic plan strives to elevate supply and sustainable standards while leveraging the kingdom’s 5F soft-power foundations of Food, Film, Festival, Fight and Fashion to maintain tourists’ confidence in Thailand as a preferred destination. The TAT will also leverage technology and innovation to add value and transform Thai tourism to ‘Smart Tourism’, promote Thai cultural values and offer all visitors a meaningful travel experience.
This TAT will brief the FCCT members on the broad range of products, policies and marketing directions planned for the second half of 2023 to keep visitor arrivals growing, create jobs and distribute income nationwide, thus ensuring that Travel & Tourism remains at the forefront of the post-Covid recovery phase.

Mr. Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya, Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications. A 30-year veteran with the TAT, Mr Chattan oversees the planning and execution of strategic advertisement and public relations campaigns across all media channels to ensure the positive image of Thailand as a preferred tourist destination.
