For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a 1941 Willys Coupe. A quick look at the pictures will tell you why this is the new favorite among our staff. We see a lot of cool street rods, but it's the attention to detail that sets this apart from the rest. To start, the paint on this custom Pro Street Willys is truly jaw dropping. The color is House of Colors Candy Tangerine over Gold metallic and has life like flames arising out of the more traditional flames. That's right, the flames are on fire! The metallic, the smoothness and the gloss are without question show car quality. The fiberglass body is by Outlaw on an Outlaw chassis with Heidts Super ride II independent front suspension that is of course all polished. The rear is a 4 link by Chris Allston both riding on Air Ride Technologies with the level pro system. It all rides on a set of American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels measuring 15x6 in the front and 15x15 in the rear. If the look of this custom Willys doesn't give you chills, the interior is sure to do the job. Horned Alligator and leather compliment the interior very nicely. And if you miss the flames and that beautiful Candy Tangerine, don't worry because they make their way inside from the door jambs and door panels and across the dash. 2 years were spent on the interior and it shows. The Alligator has even made it way behind the Classic Instruments gauges and onto the headliner. The rest of the interior consist of polished stainless steel, hidden door releases, a sound system with Infinity speakers and a JL Audio 10" subwoofer and 2 JL Audio amplifiers. Other amenities include A/C, Ididit chrome steering column and a Banjo wheel. Turn the key and check out the rearview mirror for your gear indicator and turn signals that has an LED display. Opening the hood, trunk lid, doors and windows are all operated by a key fob. When you do open the hood, you can't help notice the Ramjet 502 big block Chevy. As expected, all chrome and polished stainless steel. This engine is making 500 horsepower and 550 lbs of torque. Backing up this power plant is a 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9" rear-end with 4:56 gears. Exhaust includes headers and polished stainless steel exhaust exiting out the side for a clean look.
