FORT ROYAL PARK , BATTLE OF WORCESTER SITE 1651.
Very historic ground in the City of Worcester dating back to the battle of Worcester on September 3rd 1651 where the Cromwell's lead by Charles Stuart took on scots and royalists and defeated them with the captured army held prisoner in the Worcester Cathedral.
This video shows some of the remaining gun emplacements and towards the end of the video there are some close up shots of the canons and also the boarding depicting the battle . Stuart Charles returned to England in 1661 and was crowned as King Charles the 2nd.
Also this video gives a nice 360 view of Worcester from the park looking towards the Malvern hills and also as far as the Clee hills in the distance looking out over the Worcester to Birmingham canal , Commandery and Worcester cricket ground to St Johns .
Filmed on a DJI Mavic Mini at 2.7k on a wet and breezy day with a little drizzle trying to participate , not able to go to high as strong gusts at 150 feet .
