Coaching Demonstration Deep Dive with Metaphor of Sumikko Gurashi Furoshiki | Jedidiah Alex Koh, MCC

Learn how Jedi, ICF MCC (ACTC) engages a client in a co-creative conversation to deep dive and help a Japanese Client to find alignment and purpose in his career and aspiration. The style and approach for the conversation follows a Japanese Conversation Style.

The coaching conversation also leverages on san x's sumikko gurashi furoshiki as a metaphor to evoke awareness.

I approach this conversation in a cadence that matches the style, language and culture of the client. As with all coaching sessions, there are many opportunities to navigate the conversation, many different ways of asking, responding, observation and listening, and as such, the as you watch the session, observe it from a learner's mindset.

In this demonstration, Jedi, MCC, BYS demonstrates how to evidence ICF Coaching Competencies throughout the coaching conversation and holding space for client to explore. You will also learn how the Master Coach use various advance coaching techniques to create transformative moments for the clients.

The Master Coach also demonstrates the use of Brave Coaching Conversation technique by leveraging on the client's metaphors and story to evoke awareness and provide space for client-led conversation. You will also notice how the coach allows the client to set the direction of conversation flow and adapts to the client's learning style to support her learnings.
