The first is #KakolatWaterfall
People reach from every corner of the country and enjoy the beauty of the Kakolat Falls, a natural tourist destination falling under Govindpur Block, located 35 km from Nawada District. It is also called Niagara of Bihar. I saw this waterfall in 1811 by Francis Buchanan. If you are thinking of coming here then come during the summer days because the water here is always cold. A five-day Satuani fair is held here on 14 April every year, in which a large number of people come here.

It is indicated as the second major museum in Bihar after Patna which is located near Nawada Chowk in Nawada city. It came into existence in the year 1973 with the efforts of Narendra Pal Singh, the first District Officer of Nawada. Historical rare statues of different areas of the district have been preserved in this museum. There are many statues of Lord Buddha here, ranging from statues of Lord Vishnu, Manju Shri, Ganesh etc. Apart from the statues of many gods and goddesses from the Pala period to the modern period, artifacts of that era have also been kept here. Many statues have been kept from Devangarh in Kauakol to Sonasa, Apasadh, Parvati and Razouli of Hisua. Along with this, many ancient handicrafts have also been kept here. Coins and pottery, weapons and weapons of the Mughal period have also been kept for tourists.

This Sun Temple of Handia in Nawada District is one of the most famous 4 Sun Temples of Bihar and is among the mythological and Etihasic Sun Temples. This Surya Narayana temple situated in Handia village is said to be on the Dwapar carpet. According to the beliefs, Magadha emperor Jarasandha was ruled in these regions in Dwapar era. Indrasal cave located in Parvati mountain of the district, being an important event site related to the life of Lord Buddha, it is an important site for Buddhist religious people. Buddhism texts and ancient literature have described it in reference to the said site. In order to return to Kapilvastu after attaining enlightenment, Gautama Buddha stayed on the Vedic mountain of Parvati. And in this cave, Devraj Indra asked him 42 questions. Which is relevant in the Buddhist disciplines. The 42 lines of the above conversation at the west court of the cave are still known as witnesses. Chinese travelers Xuanzang and Fahian also came here during their visit to India. It is described in his books. Foreign tourists, religious leaders, lamas and followers of Buddha have been visiting the place throughout the years since the discovery of Indrashal Cave as apparent. Students from standard universities of the world including Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, China, Sri Lanka keep coming here for research.

Built in 1800 AD, this center of philosophy of spiritual knowledge is situated in Budhauli Math, Budhauli village of Budhauli Panchayat of Pakribarawan Block. It is said that water from all the rivers of the world has been poured into the pond inside this monastery. There is still a beautiful Durga Mandap in the middle of it. The goddess is worshiped here on every Navratra with great pomp and show.

A dessert named Bara is made in Pakribarawan market located on Nawada-Jamui road in Nawada district, which is famous not only in the district but in the entire state. There are about 50 jumbo shops in Pakaribarwan. The specialty of this delicious sweet jumbo is that it is very crispy. It is considered a good jumbo, on which even if the coin falls by mistake, it breaks. Actually, to make it, ghee and soda are mixed in flour. It is then filtered in refine or ghee. After that, light molasses of sugar is added.
