Dead Ahead // Dredge Animatic

I like the spooky fish game


When ‪@TheStupendium‬ made a song about said spooky fish game, my spirits were buoyed and I knew I had to make an animatic based on their amazing song!

I figured that this small project would be enough to keep my channel and motivation for animation afloat, but I failed to realize how massive of a project this turned out to be. This took months to make, all for this funny little animation.

This is a bit different from my usual animatics, I've just had the Dredge brainrot in me, haha. I promise that Respritigina's season finale will be out.


In the game Dredge, you play as a fisherman who explores the archipelago while avoiding the Lovecraftian horrors lurking beneath the surface. There's lore, secrets, and a whole lot of fish.

I've played the game Dredge in preparation of making this animation, and the Stupendium's video was what made me buy the game in the first place!

Not to mention, with there being a movie announced for Dredge AND new DLC, I just had to get this done.

Dredge was a nice relaxing game when I'm not trying to get away from ț̸̡̕͜h̴̠͇͍̙͈̟͚́̈͝ę̸̡̈́̅̈̀̎̕͝ ̶̖̿̌̏͛h̴̘̖͇̣͑̈̊̑̇o̴͙̻̫͕̜̯̎́̾͗͛r̶͍͍̜̊r̴̡̞͖͚̭͖̺̂ȍ̵̲̓͂̐̾r̸̢̲̔͂̈͘͠ŝ̷̼̓
