Hundreds of mourners gathered at Nyakabingo Primary School playground in Chahi Sub-county, Kisoro District, yesterday for the burial of Sarah Nyirabashitsi Mateke who died last Saturday.
The ceremony was attended by ministers, members of Parliament, and Vice President Maj. Jessica Alupo, who represented the government.
Sarah Nyirabashitsi was the State Minister for Defence and women’s Member of Parliament Kisoro District.
