Muslims turn caretaker of Hindu temple, set example of communal harmony - Jammu and Kashmir News

Poonch (J&K), June 21 (ANI): Setting a unique example of communal harmony, Muslims have been taking care of a century-old temple in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. The 74th annual function of Brame Gala Temple was celebrated at the temple premises, which is looked after by Muslims of the area. Every year a function is organized where thousands of Muslims and Hindu devotees from across the country throng the temple to offer prayers. Both Hindus and Muslims jointly served food to the devotees who arrived here to offer prayers at the temple.
