Training is teaching, or developing in oneself or others, any skills and knowledge that relate to specific useful competencies. Training has specific goals of improving one's capability, capacity, productivity and performance.

network marketing industry then you may already know that building a down-line is crucial to achieving the success in this industry.

Many times when we hear the word down-line we tend to think of duplication, right? Why do so many new distributors fail to build a network marketing down-line?

Why is it that so many fail to duplicate to the second, third and fourth generation? Why is it sometimes, regardless of the network marketing techniques that are used, your organization simply won’t grow?

So the next question we have to ask ourselves is how has the industry been successful for so long when the truth is duplication of systems has never really existed except in a few organizations with true leaders who understand, “Network Marketing is not about developing followers, it is about developing leaders.”

Network marketing is the most rewarding industry in the world when you build your team on the right systems. Think about it, a 3 year plan to create totally financial independence for you and your family.

Although I would classify training as one of the fundamental network marketing skills you must learn. Becoming a leader at training your organization is vital in getting your down-line to duplicate.

Training your organization the right way will open all the doors in your business. If you learn how to do anything in the network marketing industry, learn how to train others and spend time with them.

The process is actually very simple. Here is what it looks like:

Pick a skill you want to train them on.
Explain to the trainee what you are going to teach them.
Demonstrate to the trainee what the skill looks like once proficient.
Coach yourself and let the trainee know what went wrong and what was correct.
Let the trainee perform the skill and coach themselves until you are confident they can perform it independently.
Network Marketing is a Leadership development business. You must develop training systems that develop leaders. Your long-term residual income is in direct proportion to the number of leaders you have in your organization.

By mastering training and becoming an expert at this you will become a leader at it. Because network marketing companies focus on running their day-to-day operations it’s up to the distributors to implement training throughout their organizations.

Although most companies have their own basic training systems, they typically are not enough to ensure a new rep has the required skills to be successful. This is why it’s left up to the distributors to come up with their own methods to train their new people.

One thing you must know is this: network marketers weren’t trained to be trainers. This is why you see such horrific lack of duplication in the industry, combined with high levels of attrition.

The best thing to do to ensure you are trained correctly is join the right team. Make sure if you haven’t found a network marketing team that you choose the right one. This is very important in helping to jump start your business.

Very few organizations have an understanding of internet marketing, as well as offline marketing. The ones that do however, are crushing it to new levels.

If you do have a network marketing home, but your up-line is lacking heavily in the recruiting and retention department you’re honestly only left with one option: find another mentor.

But you must find another mentor that can train you to be an effective leader at marketing, preferably using both online marketing and offline marketing strategies.
