Report: What a fun race! My first official race since this time last year, which was ironically also Nurb 24h, albeit last year I tried the '97 Toyota GT500. This Nissan has similar traits: Poor handling, decent braking, amazing accel. and top end. The Nissan does not want to steer and brake simultaneously, so I had to adopt earlier braking markers than my opponents to minimise the understeer effect of overloading the front tires, and focus on wide radius exits. The power of the Nissan was crucial in my defense of P4 on lap one, after a brief off at Mezgesfeld. Jara in the Ferrari and SV-PayMay in the newer Nissan both applied nearly race-long pressure so I could never rest. The folly of Joao was an unexpected benefit, promoting us to P3 on the final lap.

All in all very happy with this result! This was the highest global score for Nissan in round 1. Interlagos will be tough but Daytona will be an opportunity for maybe something in the 400 point range.
