How To Integrate OpenCart Version 3 And Higher With PayUmoney Payment Gateway

In this video, you will learn How To Integrate PayUmoney Checkout in OpenCart version 3 and higher. This video is divided into 3 parts - installing the plugin, configuring it, testing and going live.

First thing first, here's how you can install the plugin:

Step 1: Login to your PayUmoney dashboard and go to Payumoney developer page
Step 2: Go to PayUmoney developer page
Step 3: Here, download PayUmoney plugin for Opencart version 3 and higher
Step 4: Now, login to your Opencart C panel
Step 5: Under the file manager, select web root - public HTML.
Please note that this location may differ.
Step 6: Locate admin & catalog folders
Step 7: Click on Admin Folder then 'Controller'. Then go to 'Extension', then 'Payment' and then click on upload
Now locate the PayUmoney Opencart kit you downloaded and follow the same path and select the .php file. Repeat same steps for all the subfolders under Admin.
Step 8: Now, click on catalog folder
Repeat the same steps for all the 4 subfolders as you did under Admin folder.

Once you install the plugin, it's time to configure. Follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Under the OpenCart Admin panel, click on extensions and select “Payments”
Step 2: Install the PayUmoney-citrus plugin
Step 3: And enter the merchant key and salt details
Please Note: You can find these values under “Integration Details” in your PayUmoney merchant dashboard.
Step 4: Now, under gateway mode, select “Sandbox”.
Here, please follow these simple steps. Mention:
a) 'INR' under currency
b) 'Processing' under success order status
c) 'Canceled' under cancel/fail order status
d) 'Enabled' under status and then click on ‘save’

Now that you have successfully installed and configured the plugin, it's the time to test and go live.

Step 1: Go to your website, add a product to cart and proceed to checkout
Step 2: If you see PayUmoney payment option, it means you have successfully integrated PayUmoney in your Opencart website
Step 3: Select this option and proceed to confirm your order
Step 4: You can now pay using test card details available under ‘Integration Details’ section on your PayUmoney business dashboard
Step 5: If you are satisfied with the integration and want to go LIVE, change settings from “Sandbox” to “Production” under gateway mode

Congrats! PayUmoney is now LIVE on your Opencart website.
