Quantum physics reveals that we are energy on an essential level. Qi, life force energy, runs throughout our bodies in specific pathways or meridians that can be measured, much as our mental/emotional fields are electro-magnetic and can be measured.

The heart meridian is considered the emperor organ in Chinese medicine, a system of healing that dates back 3,000 years. The ancients knew the heart holds power to initiate healing in all of the other body systems: organs of digestion, endocrine and nervous system, for example.

This talk will explain the science behind Chinese Medicine and HeartMath, and how we can tap into the power of the heart for healing our bodies, thought patterns, and relationships.

OUR SPEAKER:

Gayl Hubatch, OMD, is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, licensed acupuncturist, and author of Fabric of the Soul: Eight Extraordinary Vessels. Gayl is also a HeartMath Trainer and Interventions Coach, a Diplomat of Acupuncture via NCCAOM, and Avatar master. Capturing essence from her practice of energy medicine for the past 30 years, Dr. Hubatch brings a wealth of knowledge to her courses. She has taught at Kripalu, Omega, and Esalen, colleges, universities and privately, since 1984. Gayl is also certified to teach Qigong, Tai chi and Yoga, and specializes in Qigong/Tai Chi moving meditations. Gayl endeavors to integrate eastern and western medicine through the practice of acupuncture, herbology, and HeartMath.
