Swatching without cast on or bind off edges // Technique Tuesday

Описание к видео Swatching without cast on or bind off edges // Technique Tuesday

This video demonstrates a method of casting on for swatches that can be useful when you want to swatch. It allows you to evaluate the fabric on its own without interference of borders or cast on/bind off edges that could cause the edges to flare or prevent the fabric from fully stretching.

This technique is one type of provisional cast on (PCO). Other PCO methods that place the stitches on waste yarn would work just as well.
