Rock Fishing Shell Harbour NSW

NSW had a weekend of heat BUT the swell and wind were low so I took to my favorite rock spot in Bush rangers bay near Shell Harbour.

the long walk to get out there was great.. but once the sun came up it got really hot.

I tried some top water, but only found success with the jigs. I think the main reason jigs were successful was cast distance and profile. bigger lures of a similar weight are just too jig for the fish predators hunt of the rocks (I think)
